Lattco™ Has More Meaning Now
Lattco is the software which generates new positions for the Snider Investment Method™. It is brand, spanking new. Although Chronim has been using it for almost a year now, and it has been in beta for months and months, this month is the first time it will be used by paying customers.
On our Bora Bora Society trip, we ran a contest to see who could come up with a clever acronym for Lattco, since truth be told, it is just a made up name. The winning entry came from Henry and Paulette Levine:

The Cactus Times
Every day, while on our Bora Bora Society trips, we issue photo contest challenges. Each day, the best entries win prizes. Some of the photo challenges were:
- A picture with an engineer (the train kind)
- A mock-shoot-out
- You with a Sedona native (We never did find one!) One group was going to go to the hospital and snap a picture of a newborn!
- The funniest looking cactus
- Something that isn't a rock (Pretty hard in Sedona!)
Each day's photo submission were published on the back page of our daily newspaper, which Andrew and James dutifully tape to everyone's door in the wee hours of the night. Click to enlarge this sample edition.
I think you'll agree. We have some darned clever people in the Bora Bora Society! And yes, that is a real live Bald Eagle on the top left.

New Snider Method Terminology
As I mentioned in the previous post, 50 Snider Investment Method™ graduates and staff from Kim Snider Financial Communications are in Sedona, Arizona for our second annual Bora Bora Society trip. On our first night, we had a miniature golf tournament and a beautiful, if somewhat chilly, dinner under the stars beside Oak Creek.
On the bus
ride up from Phoenix, our fearless leader, MJ Chapman of Chapman Incentive
Adventures, asked us to come up with our own rules for the golf tournament. I
thought you might enjoy some of the more creative ones:
Annuicide- Bend over with your forehead resting on your putter and circle the putter three times before you address the ball.
New Position- Before each new hole, everybody guesses a teammate's number of strokes for that hole. If correct, that number of strokes is "called away." If wrong, those strokes are "put", or added to your score.
Transmogrification- Every player plays their second stroke with another player's ball from that player's first stroke.
Over-the-shoulder help- If your putt bounces outside the green, Call Chronim Advisors for assistance. And for just $35 extra, they'll give you your own personal putting coach.
Vacation putt- Send in your scorecard and Chronim will putt for you.
Wall Street broker rules- Each team makes up their own score (regardless of actual stroke count) but they have to defend their score publicly after the SEC launches an investigation.
Bankruptcy screen- Apply "Z Score" to determine which ball to hit first.
Tweaker Bill- Putt with the opposite hand.
Band rule- There can be no more than three balls within any five foot area. When you are within 3 feet of the hole, you cannot have any more than three balls in a 2.5 foot area.
Bundling- If after your stroke, the ball is too far away from the hole, bundle balls near closest to the hole.
The winning team was Frank Martino, Rayleen Barnes, Larry Hauptrief and Melanie Cooper. Not only was their golf score ridiculously low, but their team cheer put them over the top:

We stay in Bora Bora;
Until we're called away!
As you can tell, we are having a great time and have some pretty creative graduates. We hope you will join us next year.
